Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, otherwise known as The Simpsons, make up the longest running American primetime entertainment series. This loveable, albeit dysfunctional, family has survived everything from Lisa taking up ice hockey to MargeâÂÂs crusade against a monorail. They have also had many celebrities stop by the town of Springfield, everyone from Tony Bennett to the members of The Who. With so many specials guests and relevant topics it is no wonder viewers keep tuning in.
At the center of this famous family is none other than Bart Simpson. He is impulsive, mischievous and destructive. Bart loves to prank call MoeâÂÂs Tavern, skateboard, and watch The Itchy & Scratchy Show. He is also very well known for the different messages he write on the chalkboard in the opening credits as well as catchphrases like âÂÂeat my shortsâ or âÂÂdonâÂÂt have a cow man.â Perhaps one of the most memorable moments for Bart was his song âÂÂDo the Bartmanâ written by Michael Jackson and released in 1990.
