This 1939 Academy Award winning film was based on the ever-popular L. Frank Baum book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This film stars Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale, a young girl from Kansas, who with her little dog Toto, is whisked away via a cyclone to the magical Land of Oz. There she embarks on an incredible adventure in search of a way back home to Kansas, making three close friends along the way. Ray Bolger stars as the Scarecrow, Jack Haley as the Tin Man, and Bert Lahr as the Cowardly Lion. If only the merry group can reach the man with all the answers, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, before the nasty Wicked Witch of the West destroys them all.
